Confessing to killing 25 people, Taliban leader accuses Prince Harry of war

A senior Taliban leader has told Prince Harry that the militants he killed in Afghanistan "were not chess pieces, they were people".

In his memoirs published in his book 'Spare', Harry wrote that he had killed 25 Taliban, whom he described as "chess pieces", while serving on the front line as co-pilot of an Apache helicopter.

In response to the prince's controversial claims, Taliban commander Anas Haqqani tweeted: “Mr Harry! Those you killed were not chess pieces, they were people, they had families waiting for their return.

In the long-awaited book, the prince claimed to have shot dead 25 fighters, adding that he did not think of them as "people" while holding the gun.
