Returning to work after the holidays is always challenging. After a festive period, facing the reality of starting a new year is accompanied by a lack of enthusiasm.
This moment is often compared to that of September, when the summer holidays are over and you have to return to your daily activities.
"January seems to be more or less similar to September in terms of rhythm, we experience the same emotions as if we are coming back from the summer holidays. For many people, returning to the workplace is a problem because some of them have not been able to rest enough, others are still unprepared for the difficulty and workload that awaits them and therefore are not enthusiastic when they return", explains the sociologist Entela Gemini.
To experience this moment as easily and gradually, sociologists advise setting objectives for the new year, which would bring more desire to work.
"He thinks that in order to return, it is first necessary to set long-term objectives, to set goals, to work persistently to fulfill them, he thinks that adapting to any environment, putting to work the skills required in any field and why not a positive attitude towards the future", says Binjaku.
The first days of January are usually slow and quiet, however it doesn't take long for the city to return to normality where everyone continues with their work and activities.
