The well-known singer, Valbona Mema, has shown that she had a difficult childhood and how she won to go to the Artistic High School, but they sent someone else instead.

"I am Valbona, I was born and raised in Tirana, in an old neighborhood of Tirana, with many family members. I am the last child. I have 7 sisters and 2 brothers. My childhood was equally bad but also very beautiful.

I started primary school near home. We had a very good school, named today. I also competed in the Artistic High School, but unfortunately, I had won, but they sent someone else in my place who was probably a little higher in terms of many things, in terms of finances, in terms of support. I forced myself and started school in agriculture and in the Zooveterinary branch.

The 1st, 2nd, 3rd year was very nice and I was a very good student. Even there I sang all the time, there were school concerts and I was always the first.

I took the bus with difficulty even though I was falling asleep, sometimes we went to the Kombinat, we went around again and I fell asleep again. Sometimes I went with bread and sometimes without bread", said the beloved singer to the public.
