Fero's decision to leave music brought many public reactions. Among them is the professor of philosophy at the University of Pristina, Blerim Latifi, who has expressed himself against this decision.

In a status on Facebook, the professor describes the fate of Fero in what he calls 'the claws of religious fanaticism', which he calls destructive for man, surpassing all herbal drugs.

"It is not surprising when a young, illiterate, badly brought up and delinquent, ends up in the clutches of religious fanaticism. Such are very fertile soil for the flourishing of fanaticism. "The tragedy is when someone who has passed through the institutions and culture of modern enlightenment falls into the clutches of religious fanaticism, which, in terms of its destructive effect on man, surpasses all herbal drugs," he wrote.

Fero announced two days ago that he will retire from music because of religion, stating in a post on Instagram that he has studied Islam and has decided to leave music and dedicate himself to religion and family.

Fero wrote that he regrets every text he has written as he asks that his songs be deleted and never heard again.
