Earthquake/ More than 5,700 buildings have collapsed in Turkey

Over 5,700 buildings collapsed in Turkey from the earthquake that hit the border area with Syria. 

This was announced by the heads of AFAD, Ankara's Emergency and Disaster Management Authority, in the latest update.

Meanwhile, the weather conditions make the situation even more dramatic, making the search and rescue operation difficult as there is heavy snowfall, rain, strong winds and low temperatures in the affected areas.
