A serious incident took place in Italy, where a 19-year-old woman was raped by 7 boys, causing anger and many reactions. Among the people who expressed their anger was the singer Ermal Meta, who demanded the maximum punishment for them, according to the Italian media.

"There in prison, if you ever go, I wish every single one of you 'dogs' ends up under 100 wolves so you understand what rape is," he wrote on Twitter.

"I know people, women who have never recovered from rape, who get scared as soon as they hear a noise behind them, who can't even go to the beach anymore. But how to save a 19-year-old girl who from now on will be afraid of everything?", he wrote on Twitter.

Adding: "Why do we feel social responsibility towards the perpetrators and not the victim? If there is a form of collective responsibility towards the perpetrators, then we must try to feel responsible for that girl and for all rape victims because we really owe them something, it is the victims who must be helped to rebuild their lives".

The singer then calls for exemplary punishment for the guilty.

"I believe that they are absolutely necessary for a simple reason: no criminal act is stopped by the fear of re-education, but by the fear of punishment. Education must work before such an event takes place.
