The European Commission has approved the use and consumption of insects, worms and cockroaches in restaurants and can be found for sale in supermarkets.

In the show "Taste of Home" this is exactly what was talked about, where the guests also shared their experiences in the consumption of insects.

The well-known chef Bleri Dervishi has expressed that it could be interesting to make a cultural week between Albanian and Asian cuisine, where in his opinion a pie with worms baked on a skewer or fried could be a very good combination.

Katerina Trungu : I bought it for that week, what do you call it, the week of insects on the plate?

Alket Islami : I am the first supplier, watching the movie "Butterfly in my cabin", with the shrimp jacket, things to do that week.

Bleri Dervishi : Of course, they must be certified like any other product entering Europe. Why not once we get in, we can invest.
