Two influencers in Brazil paid dearly for their love of selfies.
Foreign media reports that two influencers have drowned after the boat they were traveling with sank.
They had no chance to escape, as they had refused to wear life jackets, as they could not show the beautiful color they had acquired on their bodies from the sun's rays.
The tragic event happened a month ago with the results of the investigations announced just 24 hours ago.
According to the police, 37-year-old Aline Tamara Moreira de Amorim and 27-year-old Beatriz Tavares da Silva Faria were found drowned behind the wreckage of the boat they were in in the " Devil's Neck " area.
"Some of the people on the boat didn't want to wear life jackets because they were taking selfies. They also said that the life jackets hide their tan," said the police chief in the city of Sao Vincente.
According to the boat's operator, the tragedy occurred when a wave hit the boat on September 29 as it was returning to shore.
According to him, there were six influencers and him on board the boat, while the capacity of the boat was for five people./ Mirror
