Ema Andrea reveals why she reserves a chair for her late brother at her shows

In the latest episode of "Goca dhe Gra", a moment previously shared by Ema Andrea on Instagram was discussed, where she had published a photo from the premiere of the short film "A Man Like Us".

The photo showed a chair in the hall with a letter on top that read "Reserved Enea" and the actress's caption "I hope you enjoyed the movie, my heart," dedicated to her late brother, Enea Andrea, who passed away in December 2025.

In the studio, Ema Andrea explained that this is a gesture she has made before, reserving a seat for her brother at the premiere of "Faust", due to the fact that Enea was always present at her performances. She said:

"Even when we returned with Faust, I left a chair for Aeneas. I thought I had overcome this phase of not being able to hold myself back. [while crying] And he is the spectator of my life, permanent and eternal."

Further, the actress revealed that unlike before, premieres have become bittersweet events for her, due to her brother's physical absence:

"I have always had a very sincere relationship with him, both professionally and personally. Now in this situation for me, all joys are bitter, such as premieres. Art has been my joy, I have had a party every night of the stage or film. But now they are bitter to be honest. But I always try to make the minimum gesture because I have a conviction that he sees. I also thank those who allow me to always have his chair empty."

She further explained how she experiences this decision in practice, calling her brother "the spectator of her heart," a thought that has become the motivation for her to end the show:

"In fact, that [chair] is empty for others because for me it is always full. It is the motive in both cases that has pushed me to the end to finish the show and enjoy the film, hearing in my head what it was going to say. It is the spectator of my heart. In general, I am very insecure when I do shows, I am like a student. But I have found the motive of calm, at least psychologically in the people I love and have in the hall. They have always been my brother and sister, I used to say to myself, 'I have them'."
