For two days in a row, the city of Vlora turned into a festive arena on the occasion of the opening of the 2026 tourist season. The atmosphere along the Lungomare was enlivened by numerous artistic, cultural and entertainment activities, culminating with the final concert that lit up the evening through performances by well-known artists such as Noizy, Xhensila, Adelina Ismaili, Ronela Hajati, etc.
As every year, part of the events was also the local products fair, where visitors had the opportunity to get to know the handicrafts, souvenirs and traditional products characteristic of the area. The atmosphere was further enlivened by outdoor activities, children's games, the international air sports festival and the volleyball championship, creating a dynamic atmosphere for the citizens and the numerous local and foreign tourists.

The opening of the 2026 tourist season was supported by the Vlora Marina project, a strategic investment that is contributing to the transformation of the city and the strengthening of the blue economy in Vlora. Through the support of cultural, sports and social events, Vlora Marina aims to foster the development of tourism throughout the year and promote Vlora as a modern Mediterranean destination that offers experiences beyond the summer season. In parallel, the project is contributing to the economic development of the city, by increasing the flow of visitors and creating new opportunities for development.

For years now, Vlora and the surrounding areas have become one of the most preferred destinations for domestic and foreign tourists, increasingly consolidating itself as a reference point for coastal tourism, cultural activities and modern lifestyle in southern Albania. The continuous increase in the flow of visitors throughout the year confirms the positive development of tourism in this area and its growing potential. According to INSTAT data, Albania registered over 12.4 million foreign visitors during 2025, with an increase of about 6.6% compared to 2024, while Vlora and the Albanian Riviera continue to be among the destinations with the highest increase in the number of visitors in the country.
