Early elections on June 7, LVV proposes Albin Kurti for prime minister

The Vetëvendosje Movement has proposed Albin Kurti as a candidate for prime minister in the June 7 snap elections.

At the Party Council meeting, Kurti received the support of the delegates and from there, he requested 60% of the votes of the citizens of Kosovo.

"From February to December last year, we grew by 9%, if we grow by the same amount from December to June, we can reach 60%. If we work as well as we know how, with sincerity and dedication, this is undoubtedly possible," Kurti said.

The leader of Vetëvendosje chose to once again blame the opposition parties for the blockade and the upcoming extraordinary elections due to the lack of consensus on the election of the new president.

Regarding this issue, Albin Kurti stated that after the elections they will cooperate with the parties to elect a non-partisan president.

"After the elections, we will again seek cooperation for a non-partisan president, outside the current political scene, with integrity and competence," declared the acting prime minister.
