Kosovo Police have already arrested the suspected perpetrator of the double murder in Malisheva, a day ago.

Today at around 06:30 he was arrested in the village of Plloqicë. The suspect is injured and after first aid at the Malisheva QKMF he was transferred to the QKUK for further treatment.

" The Basic Prosecution Office in Gjakova informs the public that in connection with the case of the double murder that occurred in the village of Golluboc, Municipality of Malisheva, the suspect AI, who had previously been on the run, has been arrested."

Regarding the case, the Kosovo Police, in full coordination with the State Prosecutor, is taking all necessary actions.

"Within the legally prescribed deadline, a request for the imposition of a detention measure against the suspect AI will be submitted to the competent court ," the authorities' announcement states.

The double murder occurred on Thursday in the village of Golluboc, Malisheva, where two brothers were killed. The suspect in this incident is the son-in-law of the victims.

The suspect, with the initials AI, is suspected of killing the two brothers in the backyard of their home.

It is learned that the suspect has previously had problems with the law, for which the Prosecution in Pristina had filed an indictment against him for the criminal offenses of "Domestic Violence" and "Threats".
