Thousands of chairs have been placed in front of the Capitol building as preparations for President Donald Trump's inauguration near completion.
Trump's inauguration is expected to be one of the biggest of all time, as politicians and public figures from all walks of life have received invitations to attend not only from the US but from around the world.
Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on January 20 at the Capitol in Washington, D.C. This date coincides with Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Day.
The event will begin with music, while after speeches, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance will swear on the Bible.
Trump will be sworn in by placing his hand on a Bible given to him by his mother in 1955. And then he will use the historic Bible first used at Abraham Lincoln's Inauguration in 1861.
The only concern for the organizers is the extremely cold weather in Washington, DC.
