The Ukrainian army attacked four villages inside the territory of Russia yesterday evening, taking control of at least two of them.

In fact, it is about the legion made up of Russian citizens, fighting alongside the Ukrainian forces and opposing the regime of Vladimir Putin.

 The attack was focused on 4 vectors, in the direction of the city of Belgorod, which is one of the largest Russian cities near the border with Ukraine.

According to preliminary reports, the attack caught the Russian soldiers who were stationed at different points by surprise. At the same time as the ground attack, the Ukrainian army attacked the city with drones and missiles.

"We are forced to launch an attack on the military positions that are stationed in the cities of Belgorod and Kursk. To avoid civilian casualties, we call on everyone to leave the cities immediately. Local authorities are requested to begin evacuation from the cities ", said in a joint statement the Russian Volunteer Corps, the Legion of Freedom of Russia and the Siberian Battalion.
