Ukraine: Russia has suffered biggest losses in decades

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says the Russian military has suffered the biggest losses it has not known in decades.

The statement was made through a video message that the president conveyed through social networks to lie to a news story spread by Russian media that he had left Kiev.

According to data published by him, so far 31 Russian tactical groups and battalions no longer have the skills and logistical support and numbers needed to fight.

Of Ukraine's Defence Ministry data, over 12,000 Russian soldiers have been killed, about 80 aircraft have been shot down, and as have dozens of helicopters and hundreds of tanks and heavy artillery.
