A 62-year-old Albanian, this morning, was injured after an accident at work, inside the Castelletto Ticino cemetery in the province of Novara. However, Italian media reports that he died in the hospital in the afternoon.

The 62-year-old, who worked for a company that manages cemetery services, fell from a ladder, from a height of about five meters, while performing maintenance work in a niche.

He was transferred to the Maggiore hospital in Novara by helicopter as he was in a very serious condition.

He died in the late afternoon.

At the scene of the accident, work has begun to investigate the incident.
