The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora says that Serbia has sent the fingerprints of the person killed in Serbia, as a suspect in the murder of the policeman at the border.

According to the Ministry of Justice, those marks were compared with Faton Hajrizi's fingerprints and they matched.

Notification:

"Regarding the case claimed by Serbia of the murder of a citizen of Kosovo in Serbia, we inform the public opinion that we have just been notified by the Directorate of International Police Cooperation - ILECU of the Kosovo Police that the Serbian authorities, on 22/07/2024, have sent the fingerprints of a person and the same fingerprints together with the fingerprints of the citizen of Kosovo, Faton Hajrizi, have been forwarded to the Kosovo Agency for Forensics, where after comparison by AKF, ILECU has received an answer that these fingerprints belong to the citizen reported as killed, Faton Hajrizi", announces the Ministry of Justice.

Among other things, this institution has requested that news from Serbia be taken with reservations until full confirmation.

"Begging the public that all these news from Serbia be taken with caution until they are fully confirmed, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora will keep you informed as soon as there is new information regarding this case". the announcement further states.
