Fred Trump III, Donald Trump's nephew, has raised serious concerns about the US President's mental health, linking it to a family history of Alzheimer's disease.

In a radio interview with SiriusXM, he said he has noticed similar signs in his uncle's behavior to those he had seen in his grandfather Fred Trump Sr., who died after an eight-year battle with Alzheimer's.

“I'm not a doctor, but I know those signs,” he said.

“When you see certain behaviors repeated, it reminds you of something very personal.”

He called for more transparency from the Trump family, emphasizing that leaders of major countries should set an example on sensitive issues like mental health.

Fred Trump III has also been in the spotlight with his book "All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got Here," published in July 2024, which immediately became a bestseller.

In the book, he recounts personal experiences with his late father, exclusion from the family inheritance, and difficulties with his disabled son.

He uses this story to spark debate about public accountability and the right to know the true state of political leaders.

Experts explain that Alzheimer's is not just about forgetfulness. Signs include loss of orientation to time and place, forgetting words in mid-sentence, difficulty performing usual activities, and sudden changes in behavior, such as irritability or social withdrawal.

These signs, if occurring together and frequently, require immediate medical evaluation.

At 79 years old, Donald Trump is the oldest president in US history.

The debate over the age and mental abilities of leaders has intensified, especially after Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential race in July 2024, due to similar concerns.

At the moment, the White House has not provided an official comment on Fred Trump III's statements, but the topic is expected to become increasingly heated in the weeks and months to come.
