Trump: What Russia is doing is disgusting, we will impose sanctions on it

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that Russia's actions in Ukraine were "disgusting" and indicated that they would impose new sanctions against Moscow due to its invasion of the neighboring country.

"Russia - I think it's disgusting what they're doing. I think it's disgusting," Trump told reporters.

"We will impose sanctions. I don't know if the sanctions bother him," the US president said, referring to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.

Trump has set a deadline for reaching a ceasefire, but it seems that his words, so far, are not being taken seriously in the Kremlin.
