Former tennis player Angelique Cauchy has revealed that she was raped almost 400 times by Andrew Gueddes, her former coach. For this reason, she says that she wanted to commit suicide.

"I thought about killing myself many times," she said in her testimony in court.

" He raped me three times a day, the first night he asked me to go to his room and I didn't, then he came to mine. It was worse. I was in prison, I couldn't leave when I wanted to .

She further revealed that the chairman of the tennis club protected Gueddes because of the titles won. "When a woman complained to the president of the club, the answer was 'Yes, but it brings us titles,'" she adds.

Gueddes has been convicted of child rape. He started training Cauchy in 1999 when she was 12 years old.
