" Serial killer ", this is how the 33-year-old nurse Lucy Letby was described in Britain, who was found guilty of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill ten others while they were under her care in the intensive care unit in a Cheshire hospital.

After years of investigation she was convicted yesterday facing a heavy sentence and serious charges.

The "evil" nurse committed her inhumane acts in 2015-2016, killing the babies she was supposed to be caring for.

The scale of the abhorrence becomes even greater after the British media reveal the psychological profile of the woman through the messages she sent to colleagues minutes before going on with her act and also after the babies died mysteriously on her shift.

In her messages to colleagues, she expressed her deepest sorrow for any infant death. As she explained, the image of parents running away alone without their newborn baby in their arms made her sad.

In another message, she describes the heartbreaking reaction of a father who fell to the floor crying that his baby, whom she had previously killed with her own hands, had to be taken to the morgue. In other messages, she asks her supervisor to work overtime in her department to help.

In several messages she describes the progress of the health of the babies, who a little later, mysteriously, die.

According to British media, Letby made assumptions that turned out to be correct. For example, she described that the baby "wouldn't make it through the night". Confirmation would come some time later, when the baby was due. In another message, she says she is shocked that a healthy baby could die so soon after that. "Maybe it's fate", she concluded.

It even seems that during the process the mother took responsibility for the crimes, saying that she should be arrested instead of her daughter.
