Greek pilot Babis Anagnostopoulos, who killed his wife and staged an event saying it was a robbery while accusing Albanians and Georgians, is now known to have threatened his life.

Foreign media suggest that Babis is in the cell with an Albanian killer in Malandrino prison and that he is afraid for his life. A few weeks ago the pilot was raped by a Georgian prisoner, while now he is in a cell with an Albanian.

He has made a request to return to Korydalo prison, as he feels scared in the cell where he is with his Albanian "friend".

Caroline's father, David, also told Mail Online: "It seems he is not happy in his new housing and he wants to be transferred back to Korydallos prison where he would feel safer. . He believes he has at least one, but maybe several contracts for his death. I believe the people he was involved with before he killed my daughter are also expected to keep quiet in case he tries to make some sort of deal. "My feeling is that he has to suffer for at least a few years before he kills."

Recall that Babis, 34, was sentenced to life in prison last month for drowning his British wife Caroline Crouch, 20, in their luxury home on the outskirts of the Greek capital Athens, last year in front of their daughter 11 months, Lydia.

The cold-hearted killer then strangled the dog to make the murder look like a robbery, as he shed tears in front of police officers and Caroline's family.
