Historic meeting with Xi Jinping, Trump: We agreed on almost everything,

United States President Donald Trump has left South Korea after a historic meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, declaring that the two sides have reached an agreement on "almost everything."

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One after wrapping up a three-stop tour of Asia, Trump praised high-level talks between the world's two largest economies. He said progress had been made on areas such as trade, rare earth metals and the fight against the flow of fentanyl into the United States. The US president added that he plans to visit Beijing in April.

On the other hand, the Chinese delegation has not yet provided details on the content of the meeting. Xi Jinping is expected to stay in South Korea for a state visit and to participate in the APEC leaders' summit.

Meanwhile, ahead of the meeting in the southern city of Busan, Trump announced that he had ordered the Defense Department to "immediately" begin nuclear weapons testing on an equal footing, in response to recent tests of advanced weapons by China and Russia.
