A person has been arrested in the Pristina region after over 200 kilograms of narcotics were found and seized in the truck he was driving.

According to the official announcement, by order of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, SJ was arrested, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic or analogous substances".

The operation was conducted by the Directorate for the Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking, in cooperation with the Special Prosecution Office, while investigators are taking the necessary investigative actions in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code and applicable laws.

The suspect SJ has been detained by decision of the Special Prosecution for a period of 48 hours.

The Special Prosecution Office and the Kosovo Police have reiterated their continued commitment to combating drug trafficking and prosecuting all persons involved in this illegal activity.
