"Albanians in RNM should remain in the throat for Palestine", analyst: Denationalization there, to the point that they did not react to the violation of their identity

Heavy anti-Albanian chants were thrown at a basketball match in Kumanovo, between North Macedonia and Romania. Present there were the highest Macedonian heads of state, but also their colleagues, Albanian politicians.

But what the analyst from Prishtina, Blerim Latifi, notes, is an even more worrying situation. He says that the cultural denationalization of Albanians in North Macedonia as well as their political defactorization has reached such a point that there was no reaction to the incident that directly violates their national identity.

However, he adds, that Albanians in North Macedonia should be "stuck in the throat", if it comes to Palestine.

"At a basketball match in North Macedonia, there were calls for the construction of gas chambers for Albanians - even in the presence of the Macedonian prime minister himself. As it is known, the gas chambers are a symbol of the extermination of a people. From what can be seen, the reaction of Albanians there is almost non-existent. And the reasons are clear: the political defactorization and cultural denationalization of Albanians in North Macedonia has reached such a point that even such brutal and anti-Albanian rhetoric as this no longer produces either sensitivity or reaction.

There, Albanians should remain in the throat for Palestine, but not for issues where their national identity is directly violated. And that says it all", says Latifi.
