NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, after meeting with President Osmani, gave an important message about peace in the region.
The NATO chief has guaranteed that they will respond to any attack that threatens Kosovo's security.
"We are ready to respond to any security attack. NATO will continue to play its role in its mandate for the security of all. We do this together with the Kosovo Police and EULEX," he said.
Rutte also spoke about the importance of the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade. He reiterated that the dialogue must continue because it is the only solution.
According to him, the two countries should choose diplomacy over violence.
"We must choose diplomacy over violence. In this regard, NATO will continue to support the normalization of relations between Pristina and Belgrade. It is the only solution. Both sides must show flexibility to push this dialogue forward. I understand that it means difficult decisions, but this must be seen in the long term," he told the media.
