At least 28 people have been injured in Sumy, Ukraine, as a result of Russian missile attacks on a hospital in the area, Ukrainian sources say, reports the BBC.

Foreign media reports that among the injured are four minors.

The Russian missile strikes come at a time when talks are taking place in Saudi Arabia between American and Russian officials about a possible peace deal in Ukraine.

Ukraine's defense minister said the Kiev-US discussions on Sunday, also held in Riyadh, were "productive."

But Russian attacks on Ukraine continued overnight, as the Russian military said they captured 28 Ukrainian drones.

Ukraine also said it had shot down four military helicopters in Russia.
