A plane with 80 people on board has crashed at Toronto International Airport, leaving 15 people injured.

The plane encountered strong winds, which caused it to skid off the runway.

Local media reported that two of the 15 people injured in the accident are in critical condition. One of them is a child.

One of the crew members posted a video showing the moment the plane crashed, writing: "Our plane crashed. It's upside down. Most people seem to be okay. We're all getting off."

Authorities in the country announced that all people were evacuated, while the safety board announced that it would pursue an investigation into the incident.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford expressed relief when he learned that there were no casualties from this incident, adding that local authorities showed a willingness to provide assistance.
