Eight models have been gang-raped while filming a music video after 17 hooded men suddenly appeared on set shooting in the air.
The girl group was filming a gospel music video in an abandoned mine in South Africa's Gauteng province.
The victims tried to escape, but were stopped by a volley of shots in the air.
They were then forced to lie down as a group of hooded men approached.
The gang took their mobile phones, jewellery, bags, cash and camera equipment before taking them to a wooded area and raping them 10 times each.
The victims were raped a total of 32 times before the South African police arrived.
The police started a gunfight that killed two of the perpetrators and wounded another. After the exchange of fire, 65 people were arrested who were digging without permission in the abandoned mine.
The models had come from Johannesburg and were only hired for one day. Police found illegal firearms, explosives and items belonging to the perpetrators.
17 people are on the run, although Interior Minister Bheki Cele said 3 suspects have been arrested.
