He pulled her onto the balcony holding a knife in his hand, while police officers were outside the apartment of 29-year-old Pamela Genini , and then stabbed her to death.

Neighbors witnessed the stabbing of the young model and entrepreneur by her businessman boyfriend Gianluca Soncin.

"He'll kill him, he'll kill him!" they shouted.

Police officers entered the third-floor apartment in the Gorla neighborhood, a suburb of Milan, but it was too late.

The serious incident occurred on Tuesday evening, around 10:00 PM, as officers found Pamela Genini dead on the balcony, while her 52-year-old boyfriend was still standing with a knife in his hand and stabbed himself twice in the throat, in front of them, in an attempt to end his life.

"I knew she wanted to get rid of him. She wanted to leave him," the victim's ex-partner told the police team that went to the scene.

It is reported that the 29-year-old, who realized the danger she was in, called her ex-boyfriend shortly before the fatal attack, asking for help.

The latter called the police and went to her apartment on Via Iglesias, but it was too late.

Model Pamela Genini's screams attracted the attention of neighbors around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday evening.

"We heard her screams, they were very loud. She was screaming 'help, help,'" said a resident.

Another watched as she was murdered on the third-floor balcony, where the 52-year-old stabbed her 24 times.

Desperate attempt to save oneself

When the police rang the intercom, Pamela was still alive. She answered by saying, "Glovo?", pretending it was a delivery, but she didn't have time to open the door for the officers, who had to break it down to get inside.

The victim and the perpetrator had reportedly been in a relationship for about a year, but the 29-year-old had decided to break up.

On Tuesday evening, the 52-year-old, who left his Audi car on the street, appeared on Via Iglesias to convince the victim to continue the relationship.

He arrived at her apartment with a knife and entered after obtaining a copy of the apartment keys.

Soncin reportedly repeatedly threatened to kill his ex-partner.

And yesterday evening he stabbed her several times in the neck, back, chest, upper limbs and hands, causing 24 wounds.
