Santorini declares state of emergency after repeated earthquakes

The Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection has decided that the municipality of Thira in Greece be placed in a state of emergency due to the continuous earthquakes recorded between Santorini and Amorgos.

The decision states in detail that a state of emergency was declared in the Municipality of Thira to address emergency needs and manage the consequences resulting from seismic activity.

The decision also states that the state of emergency will last for one month.
