One of the crimes that shocked Italy and captured the media's attention for several weeks was solved a few months later.
An autopsy reveals the sad truth behind the death of 13-year-old Albanian girl Aurora Tila on October 25, 2024, after she was initially reported to have fallen from the terrace of a building in Italy. Doctors at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the University of Pavia have revealed that the minor did not jump herself, but was pushed by someone, falling backwards, and consequently injuring the back of her head.
This scenario presented by the doctors matches that described in the detention order of the Bologna Juvenile Court against the 15-year-old ex-boyfriend of the Albanian girl, who is arrested on charges of intentional murder. According to the autopsy, the 13-year-old Albanian girl had multiple fractures, all related to the fall from a height, but the fatal ones were the head injuries, which caused her immediate death.
Another key point of the examination has focused on the injuries found on the girl's hands, especially on the knuckles. The Carabinieri of the Piacenza investigative unit, who have been entrusted with the investigation, have collected the testimonies of three people who claim to have seen or heard what happened between Aurora and her ex-boyfriend on the terrace.
Two of them claim to have witnessed the scene, albeit from a distance. A third says he heard the girl's desperate screams. According to their accounts, Aurora was seen hanging from the railing, while the boy punched her hands to make her fall.
