The European Parliament on the agenda of the liberalization of visas for Kosovo

In the Committee of the European Parliament for Civil Liberties, Justice and Internal Affairs, on Thursday (today) the liberalization of visas for Kosovo will be the topic of discussion - the tripartite agreement, where it will be voted on.

"Voting: Parliament's proposal for the rules for European voting and standing in municipal elections in other EU countries (report. Joachim Brudzinski). Liberalization of visas with Kosovo - the tripartite agreement (reporter Thijs Reuten)", it was announced on the Twitter page of the Committee.

Dutch MEP Thijs Reuten also announced the vote.

"After the long-awaited agreement reached between the EU member states on the liberalization of visas for Kosovo, we will keep the pace in the European Parliament. Voting in the Committee this Thursday", he wrote on Twitter.

Until now, there has been strong support from the European Parliament for the liberalization of visas for Kosovo. The Parliament had also put pressure on the countries of the European Union to as soon as possible approve the decision to remove the visas for the citizens of Kosovo, who are the only ones in the region who cannot travel to the EU without visas.
