The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, in an interview for the "Reuters" agency, has accused Serbia and President Vucic of being behind the attack in the north where the police officer, Afrim Bunjaku, was killed.

"Reuters" writes that the armed conflict has fueled international concerns about stability in Kosovo.

"Kosovo is under attack. The armed group simply implemented the orders and goals of Serbia as a state and Vucic as a leader," Osmani told Reuters in an interview given in her office today.

Osmani said that Serbia still has territorial claims to Kosovo and is acting to fulfill a Crimean model by creating tensions in northern Kosovo.

"What I would say to President Vucic is to stop messing with Kosovo. Kosovo will defend its freedom, independence and sovereignty at any cost. They are trying to create a model of Crimea in the Republic of Kosovo, but we will absolutely not allow it to happen. We will protect every inch of the territory of Kosovo", said Osmani.

President Osmani said that similar attacks could be repeated in the near future and asked the international community to do everything to prevent Serbia from supporting such groups.

"I am very worried that such attacks, even bigger ones, could happen in the future if Serbia is not punished, first of all, for this terrorist act of aggression," she said.

Kosovo and Serbia have been in talks for more than a decade to normalize relations, in a mediation process led by the European Union. Earlier this year, they agreed to a deal proposed by the EU, but since then they have not agreed on how to implement it.

On the other hand, President Osmani said that the talks between Kosovo and Serbia cannot continue as before.
