A 19-year-old from Kosovo was killed with a knife on the border between Croatia and Serbia, after an attack in unclear circumstances.
The serious incident took place in the village of Batrovc, the Serbian newspaper "Blic" reports.
Serbian media reported that two people from Kosovo were attacked at a border point between Croatia and Serbia on September 26. One of them died from his injuries.
A truck driver from Bosnia and Herzegovina narrated the incident, saying that he saw a man and a group of people who were on the road in front of the border.
"I saw a man and a group of people who were on the road in front of the border and a man running. A little later, among the trucks, I saw another young man who had fallen. I wasn't sure what was going on and we usually don't get out of the truck on this part of the road, especially at night, because there are expats hiding in the area. The police came around 22:00", said the witness.
One of the Kosovar youths is reported to have survived the knife attack, where it is said that the suspect is an immigrant from Afghanistan.
