Baris Kuzucuoglu

Young man Baris Kuzucuoglu, who was pulled alive from the rubble of the building after 133 hours, said he survived by consuming a fizzy drink.

His home in Adiyaman's Besni neighborhood was one of thousands of buildings destroyed in Turkey after Monday's powerful earthquake.

Kuzucuoglu, who is in good health, said he was playing PlayStation when the earthquake struck.

He said he had 1 liter of soda with him and that he had been drinking the whole time he was in the wreckage.

"I survived by drinking soda," he said
