The death of Ecuadorian model Landy Parrega in a restaurant has made a lot of noise recently.
Recently, a photo was published that the model herself had released on Instagram the day she was executed in a rather cold-blooded manner by two people. Her Instastory photo showed a plate of octopus ceviche she had ordered.
The photo showed the name of the restaurant where the 23-year-old former Miss Ecuador was, where it was enough for her executioners to find the location and kill her. Shortly after the post, Paraga saw two masked people enter the restaurant and execute him in cold blood.
During the execution, she was inside the restaurant with her boyfriend, who were both standing. She noticed them, turned her back to avoid them, but could not escape the bullets taken by the executioners.
Paraga, who had more than a million followers on her social media accounts as well as her sportswear line, was thrust into the spotlight last December after her name was mentioned in a conversation between the now-defunct trafficker. the late drug lord Leandro Norero and his accountant, Chelive Angulo.
During Angulo's trial, prosecutors revealed that Norero had begged his economist in a text in 2022 to help him keep his relationship with the young beauty a secret. “If my wife learns anything about it, I'm done. Her name is not known anywhere. Otherwise, my world will be destroyed," wrote Norero in the message, who would be killed in prison just six months after his imprisonment.
While Paraga's financial situation has been under the microscope of the General Prosecutor's Office, she has never been charged with a crime, nor has she spoken publicly about the matter or her relationship with the leader of the drug trafficking gang.
