US President Donald Trump has sharply criticized Time magazine , which, although expressing satisfaction with the content of the article on the Middle East peace agreement, denounced the photo as "the worst of all time."

The cover was revealed on Monday evening. Titled "His Triumph," Donald Trump is seen in a photo from a low angle, looking up, with bright lights in the background, making it appear as if he is surrounded by a halo.

"Time magazine wrote a relatively good article about me, but the photo may be the worst of all time," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday morning.

“They 'disappeared' my hair and then put something floating on my head that looked like a crown, but an extremely small crown. Very strange!” he noted.

"I've never liked taking low-angle photos, but this is a really bad photo and deserves to be reported. What the hell are they doing and why?" he wondered.

What does the "Time" article say?

The latest issue of Time magazine covers the first phase of the peace deal between Israel and Hamas, which saw the release of Israeli hostages and the simultaneous release of about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners by Israel.

The magazine calls it “an iconic achievement of Trump’s second term” and a “major strategic turning point” for the Middle East.

The photo angered Trump, who ended his visit to Israel and Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, where he oversaw the signing of the peace agreement, in a fit of rage.

After all, he personally promoted the plan, which officially ended the two-year conflict, following the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.

However, it should be noted that the magazine's relationship with the American president is long and quite complex.

Time has featured him on its cover several times, but not always in a flattering way. It has also named him its "Person of the Year" twice.
