Macron is shot with tomatoes

France is divided and this was best shown by the last election where Emmanuel Macron won the runoff against Marine Le Pen.

Today came the next confirmation when French President Emmanuel Macron was shot this Wednesday with a bunch of tomatoes by a disgruntled person in his first public appearance after winning the weekend re-election.

Macron has spent these days isolated in an out-of-town mansion and then at the Elysee Palace contemplating forming a new government following victory over far-right leader Marine Le Pen on Sunday.

Macron was meeting residents when a bunch of tomatoes passed near his face. Security forces immediately responded by setting up a tent to protect Eliza's head.

Macron seemed calm but inclined to move forward as quickly as possible. “No! Jo! "No fights," he was heard saying. In June 2021, he was slapped in the face by a man while greeting locals on another trip.
