The Speaker of the Assembly of North Macedonia, Afrim Gashi, has scheduled the session for the election of the new Government for Saturday at 11:00.

The representative and leader of OBRM-PDUKM, Hristijan Mickoski, yesterday submitted to the Assembly the proposal for the composition of the government and its work program.

The regulation of the Assembly foresees that the session for the election of the Government will last two days at most.

The representative explains the program and the proposal for the composition of the Government, after which it will be debated in the Assembly.

Voting for the election of the Government is done according to the proposal for the composition of the Government as a whole, by public vote. Voting takes place after the end of the debate, no later than 24:00. The government is elected if the majority of the total number of deputies.

The President of the Assembly notifies the President of the Republic about the election of the Government.

The new government proposed by Mickoski will have 24 members. In addition to the prime minister, there will also be 23 deputy prime ministers and other ministers, 20 of whom are responsible.
