The last round of voting to elect a president by the Kosovo Assembly is at 11:00 p.m. If no consensus is reached on the election of a president, Kosovo will hold new elections.

Prime Minister Kurti, in reaction to the statement of LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku that Vjosa Osmani is hindering him, said that "he is not hindered by any candidate brought forward by LDK."

"Just let them bring us 15 signatures. We'll fill in the remaining signatures," Kurti said.

However, he did not promise or guarantee any votes from his parliamentary group for the LDK candidate.

"In the box, voting is secret," Kurti said.

For each candidacy for president of Kosovo, the signatures of at least 30 MPs are required. While an MP can only support one candidate.

The head of government once again invited opposition parties to participate in the vote before the deadline expires.

Meanwhile, Jehona Lushaku, head of the LDK parliamentary group, responded to Kurti's statement. She considered the attempts to elect the president before the deadline expires a "political show" on the part of LVV.

On the other hand, Besnik Tahiri, head of the AAK parliamentary group, stated that the process is not democratic, but rather manipulation.
