The chairman of Drenas, Ramiz Lladrovci, in an interview with Gazeta Blic, spoke about the recent developments taking place in the north of Kosovo.

Lladrovci says that he is worried about this situation, but he does not expect escalation because, as he says, cooperation with our allies is our strongest card.

"I am concerned with the ease of the development of some events that could have been avoided. One thing must be clear, the implementation of the law has no alternative, but neither does friendship with the USA. Between these two attitudes, some unexpected things appeared. I do not expect the situation to escalate. Any uninformed citizen who does not know that NATO and KFOR are guarantors of peace and security in Kosovo can bring problems in the north. Cooperation with our historical allies is still our strong card, so I don't expect serious concerns", says Lladrovci.

Regarding the recent developments in the north, Lladrovci also commented on Prime Minister Kurti's rift with internationals.

"I consider that the Prime Minister's narrative towards internationals should be seen from 1997 onwards. There is consistency in going against the grain, expectations and recommendations that arise from circumstances created by others or where others stand. Here it is original, but this, in relations with allies, does not always bring success. Those who are taller or stronger have stronger eyes and see farther," said Lladrovci.

As he spoke about Kurti's last meeting with the opposition, where they criticized the prime minister for non-concrete plans.

Lladrovci says that from the Kurti Government, not only the opposition is desperate, but also the citizens.

In that meeting between Kurti and the opposition, according to Lladrovci, there was no disclosure of plan B and C in the meeting, beyond the current events.

“Pritjet e opozitës por edhe të qytetarëve në këtë situatë ndaj Qeverisë janë të mëdha, andaj, jo vetëm opozita doli e dëshpëruar nga takimi. Munguan argumentet përtej atyre që po i japin disa deputetë të thekur të pozitës rreth „dinjitetit“, „guximit“ e demagogjisë rreth trimërive të vonuara. Mungoi shpalosja e planit B dhe C në takim, përtej ndodhive aktuale. Konsideroj se opozita në këto momente nuk mund të jetë kundër ekzekutivit të vet, aq më pak të dëshmuarit në procesin e shtetformimit e shtetndërtimit”, thotë Lladrovci.

Lladrovci për planin e propozuar franko-gjerman, thotë se Kurti nuk e pranon këtë draft pa njohjen e Pavarësisë së Kosovës.

"Several aspects of our interest were presented in this 300-word draft, but nowhere did I see the essential issue, mutual recognition, the recognition of the independence of the Republic of Kosovo by Serbia, addressed. I do not believe that Prime Minister Kurti accepts this draft without recognizing the Independence of Kosovo. Recognition from Serbia should not be left unturned for the generations that enjoy it and will inherit the Republic of Kosovo", concluded Lladrovci for GazetaBlic.
