Where is Melania Trump ?
The absence of the former First Lady at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago rally, a few hours after the historic appearance in the Manhattan courtyard did not go unnoticed and the tabloids, especially the British ones, speculate that for the former presidential couple divorce is ever closer.
The crisis between Donald and Melania certainly did not start these days. Since the end of the tycoon's term in the White House, the media had speculated about the fact that the 49-year-old former model had decided to live a life separated from her husband and focus exclusively on her son Barron, now 17 years old.
But the final blow would come with the indictment of the former president over payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. Donald Trump became involved in the Stormy Daniels affair just four months after marrying Melania and while she was pregnant.
As if cheating on the actress wasn't enough, another affair with former Playboy bunny Karen McDougal and an alleged illegitimate child also emerged from the indictment documents.
"Mrs Trump is strong, focused on her family and supporting her husband as she always has," two sources told the Daily Mail.
But apart from appearing at the resort dinner alongside the former president on the night of the indictment, wrapped in a fiery red dress, Melania has disappeared from the radar.
She wasn't even on the passenger list of the private flight that brought the mogul to New York. A few hours later, she appeared at Trump Tower looking dapper as ever in a cream coat and ever-present sunglasses, while her husband sat in the dock at a Manhattan court a few miles away.
Then all traces of her were lost again. She didn't get off the plane in Florida, she didn't show up at Mar-a-Lago to hear her husband speak, and he didn't mention her when he thanked the family.
If the split rumors are confirmed, Trump will set another record. He will not only be the first former US president to be sued, but also the first to be divorced.
And that's not good news for that part of his super-Christian voters. The other big absence at Mar-a-Lago was daughter and former first adviser Ivanka, who remained in Miami with husband Jared Kushner and their children.
She had announced some time ago that she wanted to take a step back from public life and did not want to follow the tycoon in the second political adventure.
On Thursday, following the news of the indictment, she released an emphatic statement in which she said she "loves her father" and the United States. But it appears she hasn't spoken to Trump since.
