The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia has informed Montenegro today through a note addressed to the Embassy of Montenegro in Zagreb that Zagreb has declared the Speaker of the Montenegrin Parliament, Andrija Mandić, MP Millan Knezhević and Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić , undesirable persons.

Zagreb said that this decision was taken because these politicians have carried out continuous actions to destroy good neighborly relations and because of, as it was said, the abuse of Croatia for domestic political purposes.

" The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its regret that the majority in the Parliament of Montenegro decided to ignore the constant calls of the Republic of Croatia not to undertake moves that could negatively affect our bilateral relations and the European path of Montenegro. In this context, the actions of the mentioned political officials are highlighted, which cannot be considered benevolent and neighborly in relation to the Republic of Croatia, nor are they in line with the declared goal of Montenegro's membership in the European Union . the announcement said.
