Strait of Hormuz Crisis: Israel to Supply Germany with Jet Fuel

Israel will transfer jet fuel to Germany, after Berlin requested assistance in recent days due to the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz.

The news was announced by the Israeli Ministry of Energy through an official statement.

According to the ministry, coordination of deliveries will be carried out in cooperation with refineries, although no details have been provided on the quantity of fuel or supply deadlines.

Israeli authorities also said they would consider ways to help Germany on the natural gas issue.

The Israeli Energy Ministry stated that the agreement was reached by Energy Minister Eli Cohen and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar.

The latter communicated the decision to his German counterpart during an official visit to Berlin.
