Kremlin threatens Poland, Peskov: It should think about its security
Dmitry Peskov

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has stated that Poland should reflect on its security, claiming that plants for the production of drones destined for Ukraine have already been set up on Polish territory.

According to him, the Russian Ministry of Defense has already published the addresses of these facilities, which, according to Moscow, makes the issue an important element in the context of the conflict.

In an interview with the Russian program "Vesti", Peskov said that Polish authorities should consider the consequences of the presence of companies producing drones for Ukraine. He stressed that the fact that companies involved in this activity are located in Poland "does not bring anything good" for the country's security.

On the other hand, Peskov described as "horror stories" the speculations circulating in the Western media regarding the possibility of a Russian attack on Polish territory. According to him, these claims are exaggerated and do not reflect reality, although he repeated criticism of Poland's role in military support for Ukraine.

The Kremlin's statements come at a time when relations between Russia and NATO member states, including Poland, remain tense due to the war in Ukraine and the military support that Warsaw provides to Kiev. Poland is one of Ukraine's key allies, supplying military, logistical and humanitarian aid since the beginning of the Russian invasion in 2022.

The situation continues to be closely monitored by the international community, while tensions between the parties remain high.
