The American ambassador in Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, has reacted again regarding the serious attack in Banjska where a policeman was killed and 3 others were injured.

After the meeting with the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, Hovenier announced that the United States estimates that there are things they still do not know about Sunday's armed attack.

He says that it is a trained and organized group and that there is someone behind it who has provided them with weapons.

"We know some things, but some others we don't know. We are still working to understand how and who is responsible and why. But I mean, you've seen the footage of the military equipment and the plans that were developed. This was not a group of citizens who spontaneously came together to voice their concerns.

This was a trained and organized group. This implies that there is some sort of structure behind them, given the training and equipment. There is someone behind them who has equipped them with heavy weaponry. We are with the people of Kosovo and we are working so that this event is clarified and they are held responsible. There was a strong coordination between the Kosovo Police, KFOR and EULEX. This was a major attack on Kosovo with tragic consequences ," said Hovenier.
