The ground splits and "swallows" two 19-year-olds in the city center

Two 19-year-olds, who were walking in the center of Thessaloniki early Saturday morning, "lost the ground under their feet" and suddenly found themselves in a giant hole.

As the Greek media thessnews.gr reports, a girl and a boy were walking in the Bit Pazar area, specifically on Tosica street, when suddenly the road opened up and the two fell into the pit.

As a result, they were injured and were transported to the hospital. Despite the fact that firefighters quickly arrived at the scene, the young people were pulled out by the residents and immediately taken to the Gennimatas hospital for first aid.
