Erdogan happy with Trump's victory: I believe in efforts for a fairer world

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has congratulated the newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump.

"I congratulate my friend Donald Trump who won the election after a great challenge. I hope that Turkey-US relations will be strengthened, so that the regional and global crises, especially the problem with the Palestinian issue and the war in Ukraine, will end", he writes in "X".

"I believe that more efforts will be made for a fairer world", adds Erdogan.
