Three years into the war in the heart of Europe between Russia and Ukraine, it seems that discussion has begun about "bargaining" to end the conflict.

Ending this war is an absolute and repeated demand from the new US President Donald Trump.

The prestigious "Bloomberg" has published an article where, according to its own sources, it writes what Russian President Vladimir Putin will ask his American counterpart Donald Trump.

According to Bloomberg, Russia plans to impose strict conditions to end the war in Ukraine.

Thus, Russia will demand that Ukraine sever ties with NATO and never join, assuming the status of a neutral state. Likewise, it will have a limited number of military troops.

According to Bloomberg, Russia will also seek to retain 20% of the Ukrainian territory it has occupied since 2022, including Crimea, which it annexed in 2014.

These are the conditions that Putin is expected to ask Trump for in negotiations to end the war in Ukraine.

But these conditions are expected to be rejected by Ukraine.

On the other hand, the American Yorktown Institute reports that peace talks are expected to begin before Easter.

According to polls, Ukrainians categorically reject the exchange of territories.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has praised the latest US stance.

"Russia is ready to sit down to discuss security guarantees. When President Trump takes office and formulates his position on the Ukraine issue, we will study it. However, just because they have started to talk more about the reality on the ground, this is something to be commended," Lavrov said.

US President Donald Trump, who is expected to officially take office in a few days, is pressing for an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine.
